I’m not sure today’s society is any different to the past. People have been robbing rich peoples’ houses forever.

Footballers are just paid more than they were in the past so now they’re part of the rich-people targets.

They can break into doors that have half a dozen locks and two security alarms, but rely on Ian Darke of BT Sport to tell them when players might be away for 36 hours.
