The world of football today reacted to the announcement of Manchester City's new season ticket prices for the 2010/11 season.

Arsene Wenger, manager of their next opponents said "I 'ave not seen it."

Sir Alex Fergsuon at cross-town rivals Manchester United said "Typical Arabs. You wouldn't see Manchester United putting prices up. We don't need to do that because we've still got the Ronaldo money"

Rafa Benitez added "I think this move is perfect. Perfect." When asked what he meant, he replied "I guarantee that we will sell more tickets than them next season."

Harry Redknapp said "They're a smashin' club and great people. The seats are triffic and I'd love those seats here but, yer know, they're Citys so we'll just have to see what happens."

At Everton, David Moyes said "This proves they've no class or dignity. Not once did Mancini ring me up to talk about pricing for next season or the proposal to relocate people from the North Stand."

Aston Villa's Martin O'Neill said "Blah, blah, blah blah, drone, drone, drone, zzzzzzzzzzzzz..."

Mark Lawrenson on MOTD said City are ruining football with those kind of prices.
What he actually said was:
"Well it's all about money. Y'know people go to watch football and yer know well it costs them money an' they have to, like, pay for it an' clubs, well we've said this before haven't we, the clubs...it's not a cheap day out and you could build a hospital instead of taking your kids....

Hansen: "It's about value for money"

Lawrenson: "That's exactly right I mean who are you going to pay to watch on a wet Wednesday in Wigan. I mean that Brazilian lad Letez, Lettuce or whatever he's called

Hansen: "Tevez"

Lawrenson: "Yeah that's the one well I mean you just can't do that cos you'll get found out by the big boys won't yer."
