People are over reacting with the whole Bellamy situation. Hes not a bad player and his stats show he has not scored a lot of goals but he has had loads of injuries in the last 4 years. He looks to be getting over they injuries and is gettin better in every game he plays for West Ham. I'm not saying hes the best out there just saying its not as bad a siging as most people make out.
You say he is getting over his injury issues of the last 4 years, what are you basing that on, simply the fact he is currently not injured?

Well he was getting niggly injuries every few weeks and was never able to get his fitness back but he has not been out for a while and looks to be getting back some sort of form.

It was my understanding(and I might be totally wrong)that they have been a series of relatively serous injuries that where linked and recurring .

Record at Blackburn Under Hughes our current manager who know's how to use him- 17 in 32 or 21 in 37 in all comps.

Very good.

Yeah, he had a good year. Unless we're going to recreate the Blackburn team of three years ago it's hardly relevant.

He's been in and out at liverpool(squad player) and west ham(injuries), Now hes fit again banging them in.

He's already missed games through injury this season. As he has every season for 10 years.

I don't like him, but your examples are pissing me off.

It wasn't my example, someone else asked about his goal scoring record since he joined Liverpool.

Can I just ask who would you like to sign, who's available that will cheer your moody arse up.

Every post you make is depressing.

I've posted a lot of names I'd be happy with us signing.

Over the last 4 seasons his goals scored to minutes on the pitch is right up there with the best strikers, even when he is in and out of a team through injuries he scores goals - his record since feb 05 is a goal every 185 mins. Add all the additional effort he puts in and he doesnt sound like a bad player to me.

I hope he really hope he never pulls on a city shiry ever

Complete and utter scum bag and decidedly average player

bellamy is a twat.

he threw a chair at a newcastle coach
he refused to play right wing when souuness asked him
attacked riise with a golf club
sent abusive text messages to alan shearer and freddy shepherd
alledgedly hit a girl in a nightclub

...................... waiting for his next episode

I am still undecided on whether I want rid of Hughes as manager. I keep telling myself that we need to give him until the end of the season, simply because an adequate replacement isn't available, but also because I think he deserves to bring in some of his own players, as it is pretty clear a lot of Sven's buys aren't up to the job.

However, if we sign Craig Bellamy it will tilt me over the edge and confirm to me that Hughes is not cut out for the job. With the cash he has avaliable, I simply cannot believe that Craig Bellamy is the solution to our problems. At a time where we already have unrest in the dressing room, signing this disruptive little bastard would make no sense at all. He is too injury prone and his goalscoring record at West Ham (9 in 31) isn't what you would describe as prolific.

Basically, if we sign Bellamy than Hughes will confirm to me that this job is too big for him and he has to go.

He has scored a goal every 183 minutes since he has signed for West Ham. That sort of record would clearly improve us.

he also banged them in for hughes at blackburn. if he signs him we're gonna have to give the guy a chance ffs.
