I had an exchange today with one of the guys I was speaking with on my last trip to Istanbul a few weeks ago & promised him I'd put up his details on here, even though we didn't get past Hamburg and they in turn fell to Dave Watson's old team this evening. For any Hamburger's reading this, you have my sympathies also.
If anyone's still going to make the trip and would like a contact that you can meet at the airport, Deniz (Denis) can help with hotels, cars/taxis ground trans, and even assist with evening entertainment if desired. He spent a handful of years in the UK, so speaks English fluently including all the 'choice' words.

For anyone who is going, his mobile (called a 'cep telefonu' in Turkish) might be worth having on hand, just in case you get into a spot of bother and need assistance to help explain anything.
