Although it would never have been Barbados on the money they got back then, I can't say I can imagine Mike carrying a rag player around on his back for a skinny dip in the sea.

I'm sure, as a kid, I read in 'Goal' or 'Shoot' when they did a spotlight on Mike and asked 'Favourite other team' he said 'Manchester City Reserves' !

As a kid I use to go to games with Mike's dad and his mother and father in-law who only discovered football when their daughter Sheryl started dating Mike Remember being in the main stand at Anfield sat close to The Kop when Mike went down injured and the Kop started giving abuse only for Mrs Nash to stand up and give them a bollocking saying how dare you talk about my sin in law like that!
