For those who don't like the black badge

Re: For those who dont like the black badge

I know money/cost can sometimes have a lot to do with not buying authenic shirts but personally i would feel quite disloyal buying a fake City top.
I think we owe it to the owners to put money back into the club by buying from the offical site after the investment they have made in our club, just my thoughts though

Re: For those who dont like the black badge

So if you purchase this 8 quid shirt with a colour badge , will people think ..........
A/ " what a unique shirt , everybody else's has a black badge , but that one's colour "

B/ " look at that cheapskate wearing a fake City shirt "

if the official site lowered prices to a more realistic 20 quid each and stopped bringing out 2 new kits every year then i might by myself and my 2 kids one but nearly 300 quid for 3 away shirts and 3 home shirts which probably cost less than a fiver to make is why people buy fakes.

Re: For those who dont like the black badge

Have you actually had one of these or just going off the picture. These guys are usually pretty accurate when it comes to copying things as they know that people want an accurate fake and not something that shouts I'm a cheapskate.

Re: For those who dont like the black badge

I would never buy any other shirt than city and I would deffinately not buy a fake city shirt if you can't afford to buy the whole family a shirt don't, it is not a sin!

That's fair enough mate and like I say it's just my thoughts on the issue, maybe I'm just being a bit black and white on the subject and not taking into account people who have 2 or 3 kids, I suppose in an ideal world it would be great if we could all buy from the club but I understand where your coming from

-- Sat Jul 14, 2012 1:27 am --

name a top club in the champions league not doing the same????

season tickets, shirt sales etc are pushing us forward.

i know moneys tight and believe me i know but i'd rather save for an extra week and put all my money into the club rather than some random business i couldn't give a fuck about.

Re: For those who dont like the black badge

Would not recommend these guys at all.

Ordered some Athletico Madrid shirts for our futsal team, 2 months out before the comp started.

Shirts are definitely fake, only arrived 3 weeks into the season (after saying it would onyl take two weeks), and only 7 out of 8 actually arrived.

They are appaling to deal with, never respond to emails, didn't provide tracking numbers and has not provided a refund either.

Worst.

I can understand buying a Celtic shirt, because I've bought Rangers shirts in the past, but why buy a Holland or France shirt? Or have you got a City player's name on the back, i.e. Nasri, Clichy, De Jong?

Why would you buy a Celtic shirt or Rangers shirt? I've never understood supporting a Scottish team in addition to City. Do you also support a Welsh team (TNS perhaps?) and Irish (maybe Limerick?).

I just support City me, couldn't give a flying fook about Scottish football.
