It doesn't matter how much he spent, he just put the icing on the cake. the likes of ranieri, vialli, Gullit & Hoddle got the boat moving for them when they were skint and were buying players and getting into shit loads of debt.

Mourino still spent nearly £200m i think. But there was about another £100m spent before that. Now we are rich most of our fans want to jump up straight up to the summit without climbing up the winding road to the summit
