Thought Forlan looked very good. Some very nice touches and dribbles. Looks much improved since his stint over here.

Aguero just oozes class.

yeah i just posted this in another thread : Aguero actually played really well, without really threatening mark schwarzer, he is a poor mans messi, small, quick, well balanced, great close control, and surprisingly strong at holding off players.

Forlan's looked good ever since he left the rags and went to spain.

Aguero though last night, and the previous rounds before, didn't look like a player hyped to be worth 40 or so million.
although admittedly, the previous season and one before that, he did look a good player.

Argentina squad is really interesting one. Both Aguero and Tevez are poor man's Messi. There is not much difference between their forwards.

i struggle to see where a player like aguero would fit into a team that RM is trying to build

I think RM is going for the Liverpool or chelski route of football...power and pace in midfield and attack, instead of the intricut football of teams like barca and arsenal where players like messi and aguero flourish

Aguero's been on our transfer target list since he first arrived in Spain and we still haven't signed him. Considering he plays for Athletico (biggest bottlers of La Liga), his performances are just stunning. Him and AC Milan's Pato are two of the best young striking prospects out there atm if you ask me. But you're looking at a fortune for Pato, Aguero isn't satisfied with Athletico's progress this season - that being said if he has a good world cup you're talking stupid money.

Thought Forlan yet again looked very good, great movement as in the previous rounds.

I was disappointed by Aguero....apart from two moments of skill I was not overly impressed by his control, and obviously his shooting & passing seemed off the boil. - if he is worth 40m then we got Tevez for a real bargain.

Forlan could be exactly what we need, he works incredibly hard for the team, very creative and seems to have the knack of getting into the box at the right time to score his goals...

Being a poor mans messi isn't anything to be ashamed of.

Both looked good last night.

Thought Aguero's pass for the last goal was great. Held the ball patiently till Forlan made a clever run.

Aguero was a lot stronger than i thought he was, and i think he would be able to cut it in the physical side of the prem.

Don't know if we will get him, but if he comes to the prem, i think he will be a star, especially if he plays for one of the top 3.
