Thank you for the clarification.Theres rules and guidelines on how high, low or wide something can be with a minimum and maximum specification on a car. It’s then up to a designers and interpretation of the rules, the McClaren looks a bit wider at the back on the engine cover and the Aston Martin tapers in a bit more, there’s also slits down the side of the engine cover on the Aston Martin I haven’t seen incorporated on other cars.
Some teams will get this very wrong and spend the rest of the year catching up. Some teams will find some gold in the regulations and be out in front. Can’t wait for preseason testing to begin so we can see what these cars are like on track.
Reading various team reports. A lot of teams aren't confident they've nailed it. Which will hopefully mean a good start to the season with some new winners in the early races.
