Despite opting out of all emails in the preferences I still get automated emails when someone replies to a thread I started.

It’s annoying and unnecessary.

Automated emails are great and there’s no reason they shouldn’t work on this forum.

People who whinge about it are just bandwagon jumping attention seekers.

Nothing wrong with automated emails

Yep. I’ve found that if I ‘unsubscribe’ to the thread the emails stop, but it’s still annoying.

All email preferences are unticked.
