Four weird decisions all against top four

It's not just the PL. Against Monaco at home we should have had a pen at 1-0 and their keeper sent off with about an hour left to play

In all likelihood we would have gone on to win the match by a margin big enough that even we couldn't balls up in the return leg and we wound now be in the q/f

its now gone to far and how can you not be up in arms (pep)

they are not small mistakes they are blatant mistakes ??? its simple the calls are coming from the top to stop manchester city why or what else could it be. big games we are sold down the river and the red card count and club fines are all there to see this season and to top it off how many BIG CALLS are waved away when city have a shout for something it got to a point the manager and players and fans stand and laugh its that shocking any other manager and club and players would walk off and say fuck it

we know who runs the premier league and skysports and the team that can never do anything wrong it fact they sing about doing what they want ?????

I doubt they ever will but you never know. The only way it will happen is if they scape goat one of their ref's who is likely nearing retirement anyway (and give a huge brown envelope stapled to their confidentiality agreement, which all ref's are signed up to).

I honestly think they are in cahoots with Scudamore at some level to help put his plan in place to have a new name on the PL trophy every 6 years (http://www.skysports.com/football/n...or-new-premier-league-winners-every-six-years).

I'm sorry but why isn't this a scandal? How the hell can the guy, who runs what is supposed to be a fair competition, say that there's a 'strategic plan' to have a new name on the trophy every six years?

You can only have a plan if you can control the outcome, which means it will have to be rigged.

Shocking!!

It was clearly a poor choice of words so why is it a scandal. A strategic plan could be as simple as ensuring monies are distributed as evenly as possible.

Leicester were worthy winners last year and deserved their trophy. Anyway it's back to Chelsea winning it after a years absence and the boring predictably top six.

On the wider issue the sooner technology is brought into the game the better for sending offs, penalty decisions etc

Tbf Navas could/should have walked in the eighth minute people seem to forget that.

And I don't believe it for a second if you say you would not have wanted a red for Arse player doing the same for Kun

Edit: doesn't take away the fact we've suffered from these big calls but still very worth pointing out imo

It was a tad fortunate I thought. Very reckless challenge as was Walcotts although we didn't even get a free kick for that one.

Or brushing things under the carpet that allow certain teams to compete. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ball-league-financial-fair-play-investigation

The keeper would not have get sent off even if it was a pen, the laws of the game changed.

I am watching bundesliga highlights. Ref is being interviewed and is explaining why he didnt give a penalty. Very civil

It would be nice if we could do what that TV viewer did at the US ladies golf tournament - phoned and complained the lady moved her ball an inch closer to the hole - she got deducted 4 strokes.
