FPL - 2022/23 | City Discussion

I am surprised that nobody (except me) has Alvarez - with the 5 subs rule I can see him getting quite a lot of game time?

Cucurella will hopefully be a city player if not maybe Doherty or dier to get in a spurs defender and Delap is there if he gets his move to Southampton if not maybe greenwood or plunge. Could also switch ramsdale and Bailey for sanchez and andres. Don't believe having 3 premium players works but I'm tempted with this. Lol

Forgot about the assault I'm taking him out! Even if his body heals his mind will never recover from the brutal attack.
Good side like the 3 big city boys only thing is Justin's mins with riccardo back plus tomiyasu may be carrying a knock not 100% sure though could be worth swapping tomiyasu for dunk so if Justin isn't starting you have guaranteed points from a decent defence who tends to score afew goals a season.
 
I am happy with my team but have 2m left - must be missing something obvious - logically I should use it to upgrade Alvarez?

Hennesy, Lloris

Zinchenko, Dier, Coady, Alt-Nouri, Alexander Arnold

Bailey, Diaz, Mount, Grealish, Sancho

Jesus, Haaland, Alvarez

Any tips on how to you take a copy from the FPL site please?

In my opinion I would take the punt on Cucurella if his city move goes through he creates plenty of chance and will get a fair few clean sheets 5mil to get a city defender with genuine attacking threat even one that only plays say 70% of the matches is pretty good.

Very good that, I must of changed my team half a dozen times!! Still not sure whether to go big on midfield and defence or 2 decent forwards and downgrade other areas.

Depends on what formation you want to play if you are playing 2 up top I would downgrade alvarez and upgrade the defence or bring in salah as most of you squad are starters you could upgrade hennesy, alvarez, Bailey and alt-nouri for say sanchez, mitrovic, neto and tripper for example bench boast early and then wild card so you have less money and points on the bench.

I'm the same one day I'm 5 at the back as it great value next I'm thinking kane and Haaland then I'm thinking jesus will tear it up. Lol had mendy, james and Chilwell up until they got smashed by arsenal there.
 
Yep agree, however, he left City because he was a bit part player in LB to now becoming a bit part player in LB for Arsenal (while Tierney is out)

I wouldn't pick a fantasy player in the hope he could be OOP (out of position) I would wait to see him lock/settle in that position first.

I think he is worth a shout. He was introduced to the arsenal fans as their new midfielder, he got 4 assists in 10 starts last season and he is only 5 mil which is pretty cheap for the potential returns think his biggest draw back is starting lb if Tierney is injured as I expect him to start left cm arsenal, have a good run to start, if he tacks afew assists his price will rocket

I was/am pleased to have Mount in midfield as I think that he will be a starter - what do people think about Chelsea's forward selection?

Havertz and Verner are both 8.0 - one of them must be a nailed on regular starter?
