FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

I will be on 34 once the subs kick in. No players in the final game so that's it for the week and one of the worst scores I can remember.

My issues now are do I stick with the following players:

Savio 6.5m
Diaz 7.9m
Saka 10m
Havertz 8.1m

Lots of tricky fixtures coming up and Arse have a bad run of 3 games so I've got both my arse players on that list. The thing is any of them are capable of starting and getting good returns. Sadly Savio is worst placed when it comes to the snif test as he just didn't look threatening enough yesterday.

Savio to Brenan Johnson seems ideal. And maybe saka to son to dbl up on the better spurs fixtures. I could go saleh + cheap but fixtures for dippers are not better than arsenal's. Brighton also win again but shit fixtures after wolves at home.

Maybe I should play free hit. Or do I wait for dbl gameweek?

Hmm, I've held off on my Saka injury replacement, but I just saw something at the Etihad that has me quite intrigued.

Surely Pep has to realize that Haaland needs the ball and Foden playing #10 could be what we've been waiting for. Win-win??

(with Doku and Grealish both out for a bit, surely Phil starts this Saturday. Right??!)

I suspect giving Foden a good rest was planned. And now he's a bit rusty Pep will want to play him into form. So yeah I think he plays but he's definitely not at top form yet. Does that come this weekend - who knows.

I decided to do 2 transfers early this week to get ahead of any price moves. I did:-

Saka to son
Savio to B Johnson.

Looks like son is injured now. Ffs. Should have waited.

The only positive is that Jota looks out for dippers so my move from jota to Diaz from last week, that was a stinker when he didn't start, is looking better.

With our other MID injuries and no KDB to feed Haaland which has looked very pronounced in recent EPL games, I think Foden starts and plays big. He's now in for Saka for me.

He had a slight knock after last weekend's game, and I thought Ange was keeping him out of yesterday's match for the weekend, but now I see he is only 25% after the latest presser. Ouch and sorry.

Foden will likely rise in price tonight, and it has been looking like TAA is about to fall in price any day now, so it wouldn't surprise me if that happens tonight too. I took my first hit of the year to bring in Gvardiol, who was clearly rested on Wednesday for this weekend's fixture.

55 points, 2 to play.
My only transfer this week was putting Mbeumo in, so that’s paid off nicely after his brace.
Bernardo is killing me, just gets 2 points every match.
