FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

Have gone with Salah as captain next time out (home to Saints), and have brought in Iwobi (home to Wolves) off the bench in place of Rogers. Am also looking at replacing Porro. All our CBs are affordable, but what's the chances of one of them being available?

TAA and Dalot both being subbed before hour mark so no points, fuming !
I also got dalot in based on fixtures and assuming a new manager bounce.

1 point arsehole!
Halland and then VC Mbuemo had higher projected points than Cunha, so I just went with them. Things will be changing going forward.

Look at the upcoming fixtures through GW17. Not the easy road for City, and there are lots of cheaper forwards currently scoring more that have some great easier matchups. For now, with other players rising in price, it had to be done for both immediate projected overall points and maintaining team value.
This sadly seems to make sense. It's haland plus a 5m player or 2x 10m players. There plenty to pick from if you trade in Haaland.

I'm tempted to consider the "un-considerable" (made up word?), and ship out Haaland. He's not had a big week for quite some time. And there's a lot of money tied up with him.

Home to Spurs next - Haaland could score 5 easily.

Average will be well above 32, that was the average up to yesterday.
As you said, the average has gone up. 49 pts now. Another low-ish average week, though. Only two weeks where the average has been above 60 (wks 2 and 3). Both weeks where Haaland got a hat trick. Still in nearly 65% of teams, but over 600k sold him last week.

My defence killed me.

TAA going off injured after 20 mins
Guehi conceding 2 goals
Rico Lewis conceding 2 and getting booked
Dalot getting subbed early second half

Haalands low returns have come against some fairly average teams. The reality is our attack is just not firing. The only upside is KDB coming back but he tends to be rusty.

I did hold Haaland most of last season then sold him with about 5 games to go. He then bagged a load of points in those games.

We've got tough fixtures and if you're not going to cpt haaland then maybe it's time to sell.

So; what do we reckon re the captaincy this weekend? Will the anticipated Pep announcement be a shot in the arm for Erling? Me? I think I'll stick with Salah (away at Southampton) for nowAlso toying with the idea of replacing Solanke; don't want to be tempting fate! Maybe with Wood or Cunha. Still got all my chips to play, though I'm gonna have to use that wildcard in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

I've still got Haaland so probably stick with him. Other options are Palmer, havertz, Diaz. The latter seems a good option but you can't predict the rotation.

Shipped out Solanke, and brought in Evanilson (I was tempted to go with Cunha or Wood, but Bournemouth have the "easier" fixture). Thought about Haaland as captain (the Pep announcement giving the team a boost, possibly), but decided to stick with Salah.... 1000026181.jpg
