I was at Wembley watching England (v Poland I think) when Franny missed a penalty. For those who remember the old dog track between the pitch and the fans, the ball was still rising when it reached the crowd - There weren't many who could hit a ball as hard as Franny!Absolutely. Take most things that David Conn writes with a pinch of salt. If he had his way we'd still playing the likes of Lincoln & Walsall.
