I found out last week that the father -in - law of a friend at work used to be the bank manager of the paper maiche headed comic from Timperley.
When the bank manager retired , Frank gave him an autographed framed photograph.
He hung it in his hallway, but it used to scare the crap out of his grandkids.
"What do you think of it so far,Little Frank"
" I think it's bobbins".

sorry, its saturday night im bored and reading old off topic threads but ive got a/the little frank in my conservatory aquired about 12/13 years ago on citys pre season tour of isle of man- went to see franks gig in douglas and at the end all the city fans joined him on stage anyway next morning there was little frank on the floor of my hotel!
