Free boiler ?

Got a letter from the council today saying we qualify for lots of energy funding grant stuff including a new boiler.
Anyone taken advantage of this scheme?
Looks pretty legit but the cynic in me says there must be a catch.

had the same, phoned them, they took a few details, calked me back few days later to ask what boiler I had, said it is quite eco friendly so not eligible.

Never bothered to mention the other options the letter suggested

They are nationally funded schemes administered locally. Look up ECO4, ECO4 Flex, Boiler Upgrade Scheme for your area, normally for low income households with low EE ratings.
