Free download - Manchester The City Years (limited offer)

I've done the same with my Joe Mercer biog - this is definitely worth a read if you want to understand about 60s/70s City and what made Mercer tick. This is the only biography of Mercer covering his entire life (and it's factual, not like that fictional account that upset the Mercer family a few years back! I'll stop there before I say too much). My Mercer biog can be downloaded here: Amazon product ASIN B00AFDGZD8 If you got the original 1993 edition, this has significantly more text in it and carries on to discuss Mercer's legacy (since his death in 1990) and how he was treated up to his death by City. If you're just slightly interested then download it, you will enjoy it. Thanks.

Thanks Gary got both. Look forward to a great read. Have Purchased the complete record

Thanks Gary, although you ruined my Easter weekend. I'm up to 1992 and thoroughly peed off with Swales and his board cronies. I know the ending so will carry on. This is a must read, the earlier bits are really informative and then it gets to bits you remember, with added bits you weren't aware of.

1972 onwards have taken a while to get through, had to keep putting it down for a while before I put a window through.
