All homeowners/private tennants are now eligable.

If you have 4" or less in your loft or if you have cavities not yet filled, we can now do it completely free.

Not means tested. FREE.

PM me or reply to this and I can get a surveyor round to see you.

Re: Free Loft and Cavity wall insulation.

Had it done a few years ago.

It was free - no catch. Govt. backed energy saving thing isn't it?

Did have to clear the loft of the old insulation which was a ballache - for the lad who offered to do it for £20. I don't think he realised it'd take 40+ black bin bags though.
At least I took them to the tip for him - he had said he'd do that too but his Fiesta would have needed about five trips and cost him more than he was paid in petrol.

That was about four years ago. He's only just stopped itching and coughing I think.

Re: Free Loft and Cavity wall insulation.

I had cavity wall and roof done 4 years ago for free.
Cavity wall is the best thing. House stays warm much longer.

Re: Free Loft and Cavity wall insulation.

I've just had my loft done for gratis and my bedrooms are a lot warmer .
they never mentioned anything about wall cavity insulation though . Wouldn't mind having that investigated ( its a council house if it makes any difference )
Are there a few company's doing this ?

Re: Free Loft and Cavity wall insulation.

Got it done last week via Get Me Toasty scheme. Not bad for nothing
