fulham away ticket prices

City charge in the high fortys's (think £48) when its a category A game, if you add on the little extra for it being a London game I can't really see the problem with £55

Prices are horrendous nowadays.

We are as much to blame. Charging Swansea fans £40 for adults and £22 for kids is a Scandal. This would almost certainly have been no more than £27 2 years ago.

A family of four from Swansea would be paying £120 for tickets and about £60 in petrol to watch a game that they can watch on TV.

When we dont sell out any game this season, this is the reason why. Match day prices are a joke. Yes ST offer value but those coming from time to time are having to pay top whack and its wrong.

Football is a middle class sport now.

City v Fulham is always lowest category

Its a Cat A game for fulham though.
Our Cat A games attract a similar price

Our Cat A games don't have Fulham playing.

We are a bit better than Fulham.

Fulham last season was Adult £49, U21 & +65 £38 and U16 £22.
These prices will most likely rise to Adult £55, U21 & +65 £41/42 and U16 £25.

There is some contadiction on their site though. Our fixture being quoted as £55 for all age bands (probably correct for Adult but not for concessions). And a previous page quoting £49 across the board (again incorrect for concessions but i think this relates to last season).
Cheers

Most of those in that Putney away end aren't arsed about Fulham. They're there to watch the citys/uniteds/liverpool etc.

Therefore you would not complain if Blackburn , Bolton and Wigan charge £50+ for cat A games?

They are less deprived places than Manchester so should charge more.

i have a feeling this is going to increase from last seasons 49 pounds to 55 pounds this season, looking at their website.

can someone explain what's happening with ticket prices, surely this cannot be acceptable.

how the hell can a family go to fulham away?

Probably best we wait to see what the prices are first?

the putney end neutral section is 55 pounds, so you don't need to be einstein to work it out.
Apparently, we do!

This question doesn't really have anything to do with the ticket prices, but do we get the opportunity to buy more than one ticket closer to the match day? At the moment i can only get 1 ticket for both bolton and spurs away, but it would of let me buy about 6 tickets for our home game tonight?

I ask because me and two other mates wanted to see the spuds game on the 28th. Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

if it is 55 quid, wouldn't it be fantastic if as a set of fans we told them to shove it, i know city charge high prices, but no-one ever takes a stand, this wouldn't be nothing to do with any football club, more to do with fans of all clubs sticking together.

from what i have read, sunderland are proposing a similar boycott at qpr.

i know people don't like missing games, myself included, but the away fan is going to be a thing of the past soon, which would be tragic.

having said that, on a personal level if i cannot afford away games anymore, i will lose interest in the home games, if the prices keep rising then i cannot keep up, as simple as.

I appreciate and respect your point of view but I'll still attend regardless. If I went shopping on a Saturday instead of football then I'd spend more on a DVD, computer game and clothes.

This has been done, granted not a 100% boycott (Brum and Bolton away) The Premier League HAVE to get involved

and of course you are well within your rights, but at 49 quid last season, potentially 55 quid this season, at the same increase 61 next, can i ask you what your cut off point is.

this would never happen in germany, there would be more unity amongst the fans whom would make a stand, ala dortmund c schalke who returned the tickets when they exceeded about 20 quid, and this for a local derby.

The sooner clubs can charge like for like for away fans the better

You can't, prem rules don't allow it. You have to charge home and away fans the same price for an equivalent view.
So at City for example, south stand tickets are the same price for home and away fans, same at Fulham for our game, all Putney End tickets are same price.

it as to a degree, but being the hypocrite i am, i attended both those games, and the wigan game at 35 quid.

tickets exceeding 50/60 quid are now the norm in london, its frightening.

Premier League rules eh?

they should have a rule that clubs can't charge more than say £40 for any tickets (home and away)

Not by car if the games on a Saturday, unless you like a very long walk. If you have not been its worth a trip, me and my oldest lad will be their if the game get’s switched to Sunday which is a possibility if they progress in the Europa League
