Fulham Away - When/ko time?

Just looking at trains, does anyone have any idea how far away Parsons Green tube is away from Craven Cottage?? I think i've read about a mile, but whats the walk like e.g. - easily broke up with few pubs etc??

Putney Bridge tube, nearest to Craven Cottage, is closed on the day of the game, according to the Transport for London website. Tubes stop at Parsons Green.
The best alternative seems to be Victoria line south from Euston to Vauxhall, and then transfer to the Vauxhall overground rail station for South West trains services to Putney Rail Station. Services every 10-15 minutes or so. Just across the bridge, a few minutes on from the tube station, so its a slightly longer walk, but may be quicker than the tube anyway. Estimated journey time from Euston is 30 minutes.
Plenty of trains coming back as well.
Hope this helps, blues.
I'm booked on the 7.15 coming back so hopefully I've left plenty of time.
After Seven Sisters tube was also shut on Sunday, I'm convinced a rag is running the London Underground...
