PNE supporter here in peace. I'm gonna break the habit of a lifetime of misery & under achievement supporting PNE & I've got tickets for myself and my daughter to watch your game v Fulham this Saturday. It will be my first visit to the Etihad. I did visit Maine Road with PNE waaaaaayyyy back in the day when football was really good.

The question I have is around match day parking? Hopefully I'm looking for some that is around 10 minute walk from the ground. My daughter is playing in a game at Stockport County before & I only expect to arrive at the Etihad around 2.30 pm. Do I need to pre-book? Is there any free on street parking nearby? Any advice offered would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to the game & seeing some top class players. The nearest I have seen at Deepdale recently is the Bristol City Midfielder Massengo (remember the name) an absolute beast & a proper baller. He will go all the way to the top. Any lads at yours that are coming through & worth looking at for a loan at PNE?

Anyhow

Thanks again & look forward to some advice
Cheers
Bit risky that late. A suggestion could be leaving car at County or at station which is virtually next door. Any train into town, 10 minutes journey and 20 minute walk to ground. Return same way and very close to motorway for journey home.

Sorry but presuming you are playing at Edgeley Park.

City have an official car park which is £8. I looked online and it says sold out.

There are commercial car parks further away - between the ground and the City centre. There's a big one on store st more or less next to Piccadilly station but you can get closer. It's 20 minute walk from Piccadilly station.

The bus from the City centre is the 216. I think it's £2. It goes from Piccadilly Gardens outside a Morrrison supermarket. There are lots of buses lined up afterwards. That gives you the option of finding a car park in the City centre and then getting a bus.

I don't drive so I'll leave the car drivers to update you. I hope you have a good day.

She's not that good mate ! :-).... Game being played at Stockport Sports Village... Ko has been moved from 11 am to 1230 pm which has really cocked up my plans.... Gonna be a real tight one getting there in time for the 3pm ko... Guess the traffic around the ground at that time will be horrendous?

Cheers mate... Looking at the Footyparking web site it mentions St Brigids Church & Sheffield Street NCP.. Any advice on whether they are likely to be full and how long the walk is would be appreciated

Well I know St Brigids primary school. That's really quite close to the ground but I think the car park is small.

I think I'd go for NCP car parks that are half way between the ground and the City centre e.g.https://www.ncp.co.uk/parking-solutions/cities/manchester/

if you go for one near Great Anccoats Street (a significant main road around Manchester) it will leave you with about 15 minutes walk. But I am hoping that someone who parks will reply to you. I know Manchester but not its car parks. I am not really one to rely on.

The memory is going. Unfortunately it hasn't deteriorated to the extent that I've been able to erase BadBuy from it !
His debut was the opening game of the season before, 1-1 draw at home to Pompey, the day that the Gallaghers came on the pitch before kick off and Liam monkey-walked over to the away fans flicking the Vs.
Wiekens scored for us on his debut, iirc the Aussie John Aloisi, who was Bradbury’s replacement at 10% of the cost, scored for them and generally outshone him. It was an omen…
