Just got an inkling we might see something a little bit different here that sees pep sticks walker at left back to deal with adama traore's speed and Rico stays right back either that or akanji plays left back, josko pushing up and them countering down that space with traore is something that needs containing.

Ederson
Lewis
Akanji
Dias
 walker
Kovacic
Bernardo
Foden
Savinho
Doku
Haaland
Kyle Walker left back!? Put the pipe down mate.

Fulham currently sit just three points behind us and not conceding many. However they have had a fairly easy start although they beat the bar codes 3-1.
Still fancy us at home but the Match thread snowflakes may have to be patient.
The matchday thread should be dropped.

It brings out the worst.....panickers and non attendees.

Fuck em orff.

Let's make it easier for ourselves by keeping a clean sheet. Expect Grealish, Ederson, Dias and Savinho to start after missing out in midweek. We now have a run of winnable games starting on Saturday.

Obviously Emerson in goal. Hopefully Kovacic, Bernardo and Foden in CM with Grealish and Savinho out wide. I'd go with Walker, Stones, Dias and Gvardiol at the back (though Akanji could come in for one of them).

For me he's first choice RB atm but we have to remember his age and the fact he's started the last 2 away games. Let's not burn him out as I'm sure he will be picked for England too we need to keep the squad as fresh as possible whilst we can.
For me he's a first choice but anywhere except fullback

Tough game here, Fulham look a different proposition this season and are playing well. Got to up our performance level in this one.

Ederson, Lewis, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Bernardo, Foden , Grealish, Savinho, Haaland

They're no charlies. The team and manager will take them seriously, and we should have too much for them. 2-0 or so.

Our recent record against Fulham sees us unbeaten in 22 and won the last 16.

Last season we beat them 5-1 and 0-4, but the season before last we had two really tough 2-1 wins against them. They’re one of those unpredictable midtable teams who can be as good as anyone if they’re right on it on the day or are as bad as the relegation sides if they’re not.

They’ve started the season well and, apart from spells in games, we haven’t particularly. There’s been nothing sustained and we’ve not looked a massive goal threat outside Haaland (apart from on Tuesday where it could have even 10!). But you’d like to think we’ll start to click at some point, especially with Foden getting back fit.

Assume you didn’t watch game on Tuesday then….

They've had a good start to the season and it's one of those games where we'll have to be at it to get the 3pts. Would be nice not to be as sloppy at the back as we've been at times, but I feel like Tuesday night was a good way to get some players back into form.

Ederson, Gvardiol, Dias, Akanji, Rico, Kovacic, Bernardo, Foden, Savinho, Grealish, Haaland.

Not that tough apart from beating Newcastle who were awful they don't have any points you wouldn't expect.

About as much chance of Fulham winning this as of their fans causing aggro and smashing up the Etihad
