This 1 all day.

This with Boyata in at right back
The lad needs some game time and it's the right match for him to start

Sorry mate Dedryck is 23 and I feel he's missed the boat. Why he is still here is a bit of a mystery and it seems Pellegrini sees the same things in him Mancini did - not good enough for the top of the PL.

We're not a charity for old youth team players to give them 'game time'.

Sounds about right to me. That is a very strong team. I am pretty sure that The Beast will get the call over Edin, although I am sure we will see Edin on the pitch at some stage.

Formation and style of play shouldn't be dictated by injuries. Usual 4-2-2-2:

----------------Pantilimon-------------------------
Facey---Kompany---Demichelis---Clichy
-------------Fernandinho---Yaya---------------
---Nasri-------------------------------------Silva---
----------------Negredo---Dzeko-----------------
A formation change does not necessarily mean a change in style of play.

If Negredo and Dzeko playing together is redundant & a waste of a field player (and it is), then replacing one of them with say Navas, Jovetic, or Milner makes sense for the balance of the team, whilst at the same time maintaining the same approach or style of play.

Dzeko is a lone striker he just doesn't play well with another one, you can see in his last 2 games how much better he is up front on his own

Was about to post to exact same team. It should be this or play Silva and the right and put Jovetic behind Negrado.

Agreed re dzeko being a lone striker, he has looked good in the last 2 games.
Although can't remember negredo being as good away as he is at home.

I know there is a stampede to get Milner in as fullback but unfortunately a fullback he isn't. I for one would not be happy with him there, as I think he would be just as likely to get sent off as he would to play a decent game. He is not a good tackler and I feel his positional sense is not up to the job. He as already come out and said in an interview that he hopes he doesn't have to play there and I would be happier with Boyata there.

If we want to win the Premier League this has got to be a must win game. We can't afford to lose this 1 or even draw, so we need to play a strongest team possible baring in mind that the next game will be against Liverpool at home, which will be our hardest game of the season so far.

THIS.
And i dont agree at all that Dzeko is JUST a lone striker.
Dzeko and Grafite formed the most successful strike duo in Bundesliga history. 54 goals They had improved the legendary record by Gerd Müller and Uli Hoeneß (53 goals) from the season 1971/72.
Sorry guys lone striker can not do that. Wolfsburg had played with two strikers all the season(s).

I suppose so however he hasn't seemed to gel at all with Aguero, I guess he hasn't played too much with Negredo yet. Maybe him a Jovetic could form something they did actually play well together in the AC Milan Pre season game (I know it was a preseason game but still)

With Aguero missing I would say Kolarov has to start at left back due to his good attacking play.

True. It's a very competitive league this year. For example if you assume 85 points could win it (which historically is a low figure), that for us would mean 17 wins 2 draws and three defeats as one scenario i.e. there is little margin for error from now on.

Since Jovetic can play on the left win, wouldn't mind him starting there but drifting in a lot. However that can reduce the space for Silva/Nasri. I also think Jovetic has a good shot in him and can shoot from outside the box, which we havn't done much bar freekicks.

However would go with the lone striker against Fulham, Nasri playing in Aguero's role.

Something like this, Silva doing the link up play between the mid and attack.
Would prefer Clichy over Kolarov to be more solid at the back considering we also don't have a seasoned RB.
