The replacement of workers by automation and increased computerisation,is a fact of modern life.
Do you think we'll ever have jobs for everyone who wants one?,they'll always be people who are unemployable (like Gollum),but for the majority of the population, will there ever be meaningful work for all?.
If we have to a portion of the population unable to access paid work, what provisions should the government make for them?,obviously; benefits for life aren't really an option.

just one small aspect but they shouldn't keep increasing the retirement age. They should reduce it to 55 to free up jobs for younger people!

How would all the pensioners pay for things?

Many can't afford to retire.

Maybe pensions should be increased from the money saved paying benefits to younger people with families to support?

Experience > Inexperience in the work place for me. People are living longer now and it's perfectly feasible that a 55 year old has kids at University or is still paying off their mortgage. I haven't bought at 34 yet.

No government wants 100% employment.
It would mean no growth which capitalism needs.

I do think people drawing any sort of pension should not be allowed to take a job as well.

Can anyone identify somewhere with 100% full employment? I'd have thought that impossible to both state and sustain.

I think North Korea would claim it - and their economy is a total basket case.
