Exciting game that seemed to have everything. Barca took 2-0 lead into HT. Sporting come back to get it to 3-2.

Barcelona put on an outfielder as a fly keeper and concede a 4th into the open goal.

Fly keeper man advantage in possession forces their 3rd and then frenetic action with close chances for them to equalise until the final second.

However, Sporting held their nerves to become champions.

That's the term the commentator used but you might be right. Rush keeper is the term we used down south at school.

Why did I immediately think of Offspring when I saw that expression? "They didn't have Ice Cube, so he bought Vanilla Ice".
