He is getting a place in Brazils first eleven, looks comfortable with it, playing for City isnt going to faze him.

Maybe moving away from home to a very different continent might be strange for him, but even that will be made pretty easy given he already knows half the City team, and a good amount of the lads he is going to play against, 40 years ago he would have been fucked off to a landlady in Fallowfield, his family are joining him, and he will have a whole army of people making sure he is looked after

My gut feeling he is going to hit the ground running, he will certainly add something to our attacking options and as we have seen lately, we need to start putting chances away and his arrival might just freshen up the others as well.

He'll be not dissimilar to Robinho judging by his record. He scores HATFULS at home and rarely away.
He's a feisty f****** with about 10 yellows in the last 10 or so games!!??
He's possibly the slyest player we've had. He dives a lot and waves imaginary yellows and rolls about LOADS.
That's Pep's challenge right there. If you get past that, you have one of the best young talents of the next generation that is tough enough physically to make it in this league.

As with any youngster we need to be wary and apportion leniancy......but in reality,I dont see the kid having any problems settling.

As above,he has bags of ability,he'll know plenty of players already and he oozes confidence - his aggression and hunger, channelled correctly, could be a beautiful thing.

He's scored 13 at home and 7 away, so a 65/35 split.

Aguero has scored 63 home 47 away which is a 58/42 split.

Basically I'm saying I don't think there's a huge difference in the number of goals scored home/away for Jesus compared to what you'd expect.

He doesn't dive a lot, in fact he gets the shit kicked out of him in every game so is remarkably tough, and I imagine that's why he's so angry when referees don't protect him and he picks up yellows giving it back. He exaggerates, but that's cultural and will go away when he's the only one doing it.

Neymar had a very similar almost 1 yellow per game record in brazil, but it disappeared as soon as he came over here, I imagine the same will be true of GJ.

I wouldn't be worried about any of those things.

I take it you don't watch South American football a lot.
He gets kicked from start to finish but he doesn't dive.
I wish he did to protect himself and I sure want him at city in one piece.

EVERYONE dives in Brazil, it's the way their football is
