Absolutely saw it today. Was wondering when that transition will occur. It's seems like it has begun :)
Yeah hopefully it continues for a long time too before he has a form dip. Because he's glorious when he can show off his ability.

I reckon age plays a factor too, 22 seems to be the magic number when it all starts to click. It's the reason I'm going to be as patient as possible with Foden.

Fair reasoning. Although I continue to believe Foden should go out on loan and go make a name somewhere else where he is playing weekly for 90 minutes, and then come back to take over in 2 years..

I'm not too big of a fan of this 'a game here, and 20 minutes there" he is getting now. There is that chance his growth might be stunted.

But I hope it all works out.

Great goal and I think he is averaging a goal every two games but bearing in mind he is often subbed he is doing well.

I didn't realise how quick he was.

I think we're starting to see his full repetoire come back out, which is why I think he previously struggling because we were limiting him.

That being said he needs to keep working overtime on his finishing because as a striker it still needs to be much better.

His numbers suggest if he goes up another level then we’re talking about a phenomenon... wouldn’t that be nice

I think his xG/90 for players who've played over 500 league minutes is 0.9 or so, which is ridiculous and comfortably the best in the league (Salah and Aguero next best at ~0.7 if I remember). It means that if his finishing had been up to par he'd be close to averaging a goal a game. It is also indicative of how brilliant he is at getting into goalscoring positions.

Considering this was during a "bad" run of form, it'd suggest that once he gets back up there and playing more frequently he's going to be scoring at a rather obscene rate.
