The rounding on a 21 year old with the scoring and assist record he has is frankly staggering. He's out of form and hasn't played that much.

Fortunately Pep isn't a hysterical bedwetter on an internet forum like the rest of us.

He is the most reliable of the two,i keep reading gabby will be fine with a run of games, why is pep not playing him? it's a fair question as it get asked of the other players

Because Aguero is the best striker in the league and Pep likes to play with one striker.

Surely if there was no problem he would rotate them, there is clearly a problem with gabby that many just won't acknowledge,i'll say it again he has been out of form ever since his first injury last season o the season before ,that is a long time,if we didn't get so many goals from midfield and sergio he would stand out like a sore thumb

Kun is the greatest ever striker in the Prem and arguably in his prime and Gabby is his 21 year old apprentice.

He has been rotating them.

He wasn't playing him because Sergio was fit, he's now playing him because Sergio isn't fit, its really not that hard. Had he not played him last night, and say used Sterling as the striker, then you'd have a point.

Jesus had a good game last night for me, but he's out of form with his finishing, it happens to all strikers, even Sergio. He needs a scruffy goal somewhere, and it'll click again, and when its does we and he'll probably be flying, and even without him scoring, we are still scoring lots of goals right across the front players, and he's assisting those goals.

Jesus obviously has immense potential. His link-up play is very good. He needs to work hard on his finishing and not lose confidence.

All the players get rotated,if pep was confident in him he would rotate with sergio even when sergio is fit,for me in current and for some time i don't consider him a striker

What will help him was those fans actually at Watford last night got behind the lad.

Sang his name and urged him on. Also recognised his movement to make space and create chances.

Its really that simple.

He's out of form at the moment that's all, there's no point trying to make more of it than that. He's a young player already proven in one of the best national teams going, there's valid reasons to show a bit of patience with a player like Jesus. Lets not forget that Brazil know a thing or two about producing top strikers, they're not like our lot getting giddy over Rashford because there's not much competition, they are a dime a dozen over there and they've predicted a big future for this guy.

Maybe his development has hit a lull but that's partly down to how things have panned out for him, since joining City he displaced Aguero when he came in pretty quickly, then had his first major injury and missed most of the rest of the season. Last season he had to compete with a re-invigorated Aguero(a world class experienced striker) which is another thing that was probably new to him, then he got injured again when his form was starting to pick up, came back and the season unfortunately finished on one of his only game winning goals(would have been nice if he could have built on that). Lastly he went to the world cup and struggled for goals, which wasn't entirely his fault either.

This season he seems to be struggling for form and confidence but he will come through this rough patch as his mental strength is one of the reasons he was scouted, his will to win will prevail eventually and he'll be back on track before we know it.

Welbeck's contract will not be renewed.

We should try and get a couple of million for Gabby, while he still has any value, and bring Danny home.

Say it again!

Gabby is playing well, I’d be more worried if he wasn’t getting chances at all. The goals will come. Needs to work on staying onside but he’s young.

Jesus is 21 and Brazil’s number 9 and has been for a while now, starting over a striker that plays in what most regard as the best front 3 in the world...
