You think he’s good
I think he’s shit
You think he played well tonight
I think he played shit
It’s a player performance thread so don’t get all touchy

Please let’s not turn into one of those clubs that has to say every player is amazing?
Jesus has been winging it for a couple of years now and we should have got shut this summer. There’s no harm in admitting that a player just doesn’t cut it and he doesn’t (my opinion) ok he scores but let’s be honest Wilfred bony would get 20 a season playng in front of that midfield
Stick to sticky toffee pudding. Football ain’t your thing.

Thought he did some very clever stuff on the ball, he works hard presses well and his movement creates space but consistently switches off and is caught offside and it's killing his game

If he was treated with the same importance as Aguero, they would pass the ball earlier & half the time he'd be onside & through.

Too many two or three touch situations when it should be one. Even from Kev. And Sterling just ignores him half the time.

Scouses would love him, with their first time knockits.

There's a pattern with Jesus. He lays the ball off, and makes a run. He's on the shoulder of the last defender waiting and waiting and then when the pass isn't on anymore, the defenders step up and Jesus is in an offside position. Then the pass is played, and Jesus is offside, and the complaints roll in.

He can do a bit more to stay onside, let's not pretend otherwise. Sometimes his offsides look silly on his part. But often he times his runs perfectly and the pass isn't played, as you said. And because they aren't played, Jesus never gets credit for the run.

Yes he does sometimes take up daft offside positions.

But half his offsides are other people's fault. The way Liverpool play, knocking first time balls over the top, he'd be even better than their strikers.

City still play as if he's a stand in at the moment & don't adapt to the way he plays. He's used to it though, as he plays with Neymar.
