Gabriel Jesus attacked by pitch invader

I don't post very often in here but let's know when you're coming over. Might be able to steer you in the right direction.
We are both in our 60+ mate but although we both love Tamla and Soul music, we also love Blues.I took my missus to Llandudno for a surprise long weekend, but unknown to her I had booked to see one of my heroes "Jules Holland".She had no idea as to what to expect, but suffice to say she is now a true converted fan.
I booked this Dublin trip,as we both have always wanted to visit this wonderful city, especially as I only drink this wonderful "Black Stuff" here in Cheshire.People who have visited Dublin have always said, once you have had a pint or two of the Guinness would never taste another pint, back in England.
So we come back from Mexico in mid October and within a few days we fly to Dublin. (HIC)

Having made the Pilgramge myself Oakie it's everything they say it is ...... especially in the Guinness 'Factory" which tastes nothing like any Guinness I've ever tasted .... in the best way possible!!

If you're ever on my side of the pond, let me know and I'll hook you up with some real Motown soul..... Memphis and Beale St would be the prime location and is always a real big favorite trip of mine!!

Maybe we have gone off thread.
However, The Guinness Hopstore Is definitely the tour to do.
One of the few tourist things I've done in my own home town. It's well worth it and it's all interactive. It's not done with a tour guide so you can do it at your leisure. You do it whatever order you want. The centre of the old grain store is glass walled all the way up through each floor in the shape of a giant pint glass. Each floors exhibits are built around the glass. Quite impressive.
At the end you get a pint up in a sky bar that has a panoramic view over the city.
If you can't get a decent pint there you'll never get one.

Good pub just down the road from it called Arthur's. Absolutely beautiful pint of Guinness there.

Gabriel Jesus better get used to being kicked around in the New Year the same as the rest of our forwards.
The crowd can sing I am the resurrection, every time he picks himself up.
(See what I did there. Back on thread)

Anyway you're planning far enough in advance. Remind me closer to the trip and I'll check out some blues for you.

I assume he can't play for us until January 1st, the start of the transfer window. Can he start training with us before that so he can be familiar with our system/players ASAP?

Best take out a bank loan or steer clear of Temple Bar then the robbing bastards!
We were in a bar called Bad Bobs in Temple Bar for my sons stag do in Jan 2015 and, having had a party of 15 well behaved lads all afternoon, for a meal and plenty of drinks, they then charged us 180 Euros for 2 bottles of vodka for a drinking game! Robbing bastards is right !

Steer clear of anywhere in Temple Bar.
It's lively but totally overpriced.

Even on Jesus's wages, he'd find it a bit steep. Good job he makes his own wine.

Gotta keep on thread lads!

He won't be making much wine if he's using Liffey water then...

Sorry, I'm a Corkman. I'm supposed to say stuff like that. :)

No I have always loved Dublin. The Big Smoke. Absolutely agreed about the Temple Bar area though. Worth walking through but if you want a good pint, don't go there. There are so many great pubs in Dublin to sample the real stuff.

And in fairness, the Guinness Hopstore is excellent as you say. I hadn't been in many years but was there in August with the family. Now two of my kids filled their own pints there; it was weird seeing that as they are not yet legal to drink over here in the US. But overall, a very good experience.

With any luck Gabby Jesus might make it over there after January. Back on topic again...
