Hopefully Pep can get his title winning form back, as I doubt Pellegrini's slow build up helped him and following him solely and completely being at fault for England not winning the Euros, his confidence looks shot and he's going to take some stick off opposition fans.

At least Jesus won't be able to understand them...

Thanks for posting that, good to have a reminder of what Sterling is capable of when he is playing with confidence. I think Pep will really bring out the best in Sterling and when it clicks for him he's going to be a hell of a player for us.

Gabriel Jesus looks a great talent and he's got to be doing something right for almost all the top clubs to be interested in signing him. Hopefully we'll be the ones that sign him.

Assuming we do eventually get our remaining targets... this would be my only concern during the window. Why is it taking us so long to lock up targets? Are teams haggling us that much more than other clubs? Is it something on our end? Txiki? Look at Juventus for example. You see them linked with a player and no longer than a week later they are signed and up on the official page.
 
Sterling was ridiculous that season, can't wait for Pep to get him confident and running back at players again.

I am not sure it does take us longer , feels like it does because we all want these things to happen, but who really has anyone else in the prem signed? i think maybe English clubs are being quoted ridiculous prices because of the TV money but who knows. There is usually a catalyst where once the big ones start to move they all start. Anyway hope we sign the lad asap.

For the love of all things great this just isn't true anymore. Inter isn't in the best shape right now and it's possible that Mancini is out, reports out of Italy are saying they are out of the running . Bayern aren't in, he's turned RM & Barca down + Barca wanted to wait. Neymar in today's interview said he's TRIED to bring him Barca but as I've explained before Neymar and GJ have two differently mentalities, Neymar is willing to be in Messi's shadow(Neymar's own words today confirmed this), GJ doesn't not want to be in Neymar's shadow or anyone's shadow. In this Olympics and future NT selections. What ever Pep said in those 15 minutes must've meant strong implications that GJ will be a main guy once he comes over. United's hijack bid is a piss take.

One thing to monitor is how Juve and Gabigol's discussions are going. Everything looked a go but Gabigol and his father want more money for the % of what they own in the deal. These are the details we are probably discussing with GJ, his two agents and his club. There will be a lot of in fighting particularly his club wanting more % than they currently own, which will require the other 3 to figure who's giving up what to make the club happy. This is also where United's rumor seems to grow legs bc they "report" that they are willing to throw more money in a bid in hopes that makes everything easy.
