Once the paperwork is finally in order we'll probably have to wait for a work permit hearing.Can see the FArce on the 2nd if Feb coming out and saying paper work all fine now but you're too late

We've had since August and nothing....

Maybe it will get done when we rather than Palmeiras pay out the 3rd parties. Our £27m will balloon as it reputedly did with Mangala. That's how I read this. With the end of January in sight, it may be a case of who blinks first.

I get the feeling they agreed the fee but now he's become such a draw over in Brazil some of the parties are now kicking themselves for agreeing too early. Now they claim it's a "robbery" what we paid... that was actually something the MEN alluded to last week that's had me wondering.
His profile raised dramatically after the Olympics and National team appearances we signed him just before the start of the Olympics if I remember right... had we signed him after we might have been looking at a much heftier fee, but we didn't so I don't think they are right to ask for more even if we can afford it; the price was agreed before all that and it worked out great for us for once.
