Not understanding the hate, sure he's crap but he actually tried to progress play. Compare that to Sagna who's the most negative fucker of all time.

I agree. Clichy has been awful and should have been replaced 2 years ago however he has been a decent signing in terms of value for money. Sagna on the other hand is a disgrace and makes Clichy look like Roberto Carlos in his prime.
 
His race has been run but he can't be blamed as the powers that be decided that he could have another season or couldn't be moved on last summer because of the wages he was on.

It should not be forgotten though that he only cost 7mil and as been one of the best pound for pound buys we've made in the last 15 years.

very true, and he was excellent for 3 years. But god it's been a bad decline.
 
Looking at the first goal his decision making was chronic, short corner and Sane and Aguero are defending out wide
He is in a decent position guarding the near post area,Stones header goes back out to that flank,to a Monaco player but Clichy goes walkabout turns his back on the situation and meanders back towards the far post whilst Monaco rip the defence ,(Sane and Aguero)to pieces in the area hes just left
 
How many times do we have to suffer him costing us a game? A complete liability and I am truly amazed that Pep is still picking him.
