Game of Thrones

Yes that makes sense. I am definitely going to have to watch the whole thing again, it will be a moster watch going back to S1 are re doing them all. So many things i have forgotton over the course of it.

I did the binge of all the seasons after 6 finished, it's wierd seeing all of them so young and fresh faced (especially the starks) before all the shite that's gone on.

Re-watching the episode

Only noticed when Bran said "Chaos is a ladder" to little finger, completely forgot it was a saying Little Finger had said a few times in the previous seasons. Little Finger is shitting his keks now.

Latest score...
Cersi 2 Daenerys 1
The trainer is on the pitch to deal with an injury though...

It's sad that this episode basically confirmed yet another Stark has died. Bran died in that cave and now he's just a vessel for the three eyed raven.

So if

Danny has casterly rock and an area of the reach now occupied by her army

And

Dorne is rulerless but probably inclinded to support danny still

Also

The North and the vale are alligned and with the freys gone are the riverlands now not really with anyone? (though if Arya freed her Uncle Edmure will he now be in charge of the riverlands and would he back the starks again ??) or are the lanisters still got garrisons there?

Then shirley

Cersi's fucked

Think the onus the next few episodes will be on the issues up north mainly.

Is Little Finger on Arya's list?
Here's a good stab at the list (ha ha)

Nope he isn't, will be once Bran tells her of his involvement with Ned Starks arrest though.

Seeing him watch Arya spar with Brainne was brilliant!

I sensed utter resentment from Bran as well when talking to little finger! And I can see him telling Arya to use the dagger that little finger gave to him! After all it was the knife Little Finger gave to Tyrion that Jeoffery stole to use to kill Bran! And I think Little Finger knew this from the beginning

I thought this too, bran asks did he know who the dagger belonged to, and little finger said no, but if bran is now the 3 eyed raven wouldn't he know that little finger is lying. Especially when he cut him off mid 'smart quote' to say chaos is a ladder. I notice that Sansa has done that recently too with the 'il assume whatever you were going to say was clever' quote. Can't be coincidence

I think its losing some of what made it so amazing by doing this. The interactions, the build up to huge scenes, the scheming and dialogue all added to what made it so great. Thats pretty much all gone out of the window this season. Don't get me wrong, im thoroughly enjoying it, but it really is feeling compressed and a complete change in the way the first 6 were made.

Read some people moaning after the first few episodes that it was to slow and only the 'last 10mins worth watching' as that's when the battle of main action is, they have got the balance right in my opinion. Tonight's episode was something else, no show comes close - entertainment wise.

do we think Jaime is dead? Seems a bit of a naff way to kill him off if so, but I cant see how he gets out of this one!

No, he will survive by being dragged up river by bronn and is destined to meet tyrian at some point.

Yes I'm not really complaining as it's without doubt an incredible show and the best thing on tv.

That was a great episode to watch, the battle scene and Arya in particular.

It is such a shame that the tv shows have overtaken the books though as they've gone pretty stupid and obvious with everything, it really is missing Martins dialogue and unexpected, yet necessary, twists.

When this does finish, watching it all back, I think the pacing of these last two seasons is going to feel too out of sync with what went before.

There has been a lot of that in this and the previous series. I watched them all again before this one started and it's funny how things go around. Snow gave the same speech to Dany that he received from Mance.

Not really. Just think about what happened in Series 1! Everything!
