Problem with Bale is that his pricetag will be huge, and he can't justify it, hence we see no top sides bidding seriously for him now.

I'd pay 20-25m max for him tbh, he'd fit in well at United given his style I'd say, but it's not like they are crying out for him with Nani, Valencia, Young, Park, Kagawa.

Great news im glad :) i just dont rate bale the most overated player around imo. He plays well every 1 in 7 and gets all the world class headlines we can do better and for lot cheaper

Who are you kidding? I think it's agreed that City paid too much for Milner at that point of time..
If City were now willing to pay so much money, you can be sure we would have got Hazard before Bale, whatever his agent's demands may have been..

Here's a stat that shows quite clearly he isn't overrated, just that Spurs don't have enough high quality players Bale perhaps deserves to play with.

Would have been a top signing for us especially in those games against stubborn teams but we move on and there ARE good alternatives for the wings out there.

If Andy Carroll costs 35m...............

You won't get more than 30m for Bale when he does eventually leave, and you should've taken the massive money for Modric last year too, he's worth no more than 25m. Quality player mind you but players of his ilk have their limits.
