As much as he is a world class talent, he simply would not suit our system.

Mancini DOES NOT play with wingers, and never will.

For that reason he would be wasted.

Anyone wanting us to purchase him despite this, is a stupid boy/girl pike.

It is OK not to play wingers, but you have to make up the pace in the attacking mids, we have no pace there!

I personally think we will never win the CL without wingers or pace, even if its a plan B

Barca, Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund even the Rags have either or both of pace or wingers!

Bale would be perfect for us in my opinion, him and Clichy on that left side would be dynamite, even Zaba and Bale on the right would monstrous!

We need a Bale type player in my opinion.
Of course we do need wingers.

Mancini disagrees and for that reason it is pointless buying him while Bobby is boss.

Then why was he after Sanchez the season before last and why did he buy a winger in the close season (albeit he hasn't used him)?

Bale is a quality player now and with the right manager and with the right team, he will become world class. We have that manager and we are that team. The question is are Spurs?

No. The more poignant question in my eyes is will Levy put a low enough price on his head that he has any chance of leaving Tottenham before his contract expires? Because all these valuations of 40m+ being thrown around are nothing short of ludicrous.

I am not sure if he worth more than 20 Million Pound.
Why because he had a bad game yesterday.

I'm not knocking kolarocket but if he's worth 17 million

He's not, nothing like, placing a decimal point in there would be along the right lines.

Bale is quality,he would improve our first 11,we havn't managed that recently.

Just woke up this morning and decided I think i'd like us to buy him. That is all.

I've been saying we should've broken the bank to get him for two seasons! He's already one of the best players in the world and would be in anyone's world x11.
AND he's still young...................................we should have made spurs an offer they couldn't refuse - say,75m last summer - instead of the 50m worth of stocking fillers we ended up with for 50m.

Think that chance has now gone and he'll be a Real Madrid player next season.................

-- Tue Nov 13, 2012 8:17 pm --

Rubbish, he's worth more than that - plain and simple. The boy is already in any world x11 team and will get better.

Is he fuck worth more than 40 mil, barely worth 25 (and that's only because of the hype), I'm going to have to start watching all of spurs games because I have only ever see him play well once, and every other time I have watched them he was useless. Valencia at the scum is twice the player that bale is. If he signs for Real or any other top team, I'll eat my own bollocks on youtube.

Bale, Fellaini and Falco that is all
And how much will they cost, wages, who should leave for them to come in, where will they play? These are questions to be answered...

Who cares? The Sheikh owns 10% of the planet's oil supply. Chelsea & PSG are spending more than ever and we need to keep up while we're champions and can attract these players. Fuck Platini and his half-arsed unfair play bollocks. We'd make most of the outlay back in 2 years anyway with our squad plus even 2 of those 3 players with the things we'd win and merchandise sales/Sky money, etc.

Just dreaming its not going to happen we won't get ANY of those players

I'd love to see this FFPR challenged because for the life of me I just cannot see any team containing some of the best players on the planet being kicked out of a competition because of Platini's stupid rules. I'd like to know what the sponsors of this competition would say about it if one of their big guns wasn't allowed to participate and help promote their goods. It's a load of old French Bollocks!!!

People need to start ignoring him. This should be the default position. They may fine us but no way will they kick us out.

I thought I read on here this week that he had roughly the same stats as A.J as far as goals and assists. Anyway, I can't stand him and think he is massively overated.

Must have read wrong then.

How is he over hyped/overrated though?

Scored again Us, Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea.. basically all the big teams and is one of the top scorers in UEFA World cup qualifying. For a 23 year old winger, I can't find a way to call him over rated.

People are rating him on here at 70 - 75m. That's massively overated.

I think the inference is 'whatever it takes' to get one of the best players in the world whose value will only increase.........................

With AVB at the helm it's very possible he's off in the summer. He stayed at Spurs to help them get champs league football but I highly doubt they will get it this season which means he will be looking elsewhere.

Couldn't agree more.
Sponsers would go mental!

Just seen Spurs opening goal against Liverpool, bloody hell we'd be frightening with him in our team.....

Just scored as well.
