Gareth Barry charged by The FA// No appeal

Re: Gareth Barry has been charged by The FA

Wow! So, in sports you cannot get emotional/upset and say a few words AFTER the game?

completely stupid and out of control.

We've been up against these double standards for years:

Unless they have proof just flat out deny it. One word against another.

Anyone remember Crappenberg and Ade. How 'things' were manipulated to accommodate a five matcher!

Anyway, Gaz made no abusive or insulting comment. He simply declared that the quality of refereeing reminded him of a top class bucket of horseshit! Considering some of the horseshit we've had at The Etihad this season, it's quite a compliment!

The time to just give up is fast approaching.

I'm starting to wonder why I put so much time, effort and money into something so corrupt.
i`m losing heart its so bent, no more champions league games for me after that disgusting Ajax game.

Re: Gareth Barry has been charged by The FA

the fa are gutless they will let rughead get away with anything because of his england connection, his actions where he kicked a player from behind and the fa using their weight to reduce his ban is hypocritical beyond belief, i believe that the charge brought against gaz baz is a blind so the fa can say ok next time you get a bigger ban, its called deflecting. i think the trouble with our wonderful club is the lack of aggresion, we are far too nice a club the gulf between city those set of cnuts was there for all to see who have the guts and honesty to see it and say it as it is, their is a real stench about that club for me it stems from the fear of gill and ferguson. the worst thing about that defeat was the referee who we know is like a frightened rabbit in the headlights of fergusons piss wagon. we can talk about showing grace and respect but their comes a time to say right enough is enough, i think our fans have had enough of this shit from rughead ferguson turdinhand and the scumbags who attacked anyone and everyone on wembley way, you can only turn the cheek so much then you have to say you are having some back. city should start by cutting their allocation and moving them red cnuts into upper tier just for the derby not for other clubs, lets start making life hard for them. i am not condoning the coin throwing but anyone with half a brain cell could see that their was going to be trouble eventually, the scum will come out of this looking squeaky clean because of the gill and ferguson factor.

Re: Gareth Barry has been charged by The FA

The club need to at certain times, not take the friendly/softly softly approach, but go in hard with a iron fist,if barry is being charged, then bring forward footage of the utd players rooney, welbeck and jones to the fa regarding incitement.....

Re: Gareth Barry has been charged by The FA

anyone would think there was an agenda. there isn't of course because tomorrow rooney will be charged too.

"went for the ball" (J Hill) my arse. Mike Doyle had to foul a rag player to get the ref to stop play. Alison was right about it affecting Best though - I don't think he was ever quite the same player after that. Not sure about double standards though - this was before tackles that that became automatic red cards.

Re: Gareth Barry has been charged by The FA

When aguero scores at the the theatre of scums I hope he runs and slides to the rags just to see if its one rule for one and one for another

This is one of the reasons, I think, why we have not performed in the CL. We do not add an element of malice to any tackles, we don't have the philosophy that if we can't get the ball in a tackle we will bring the man on the ball down to the ground. Standard fare for the Rags. I have also noticed that in a high percentage of the tackles we make the oppo is down to the ground as a matter of course. I've also come to the conclusion that when some of the more 'experienced' players at MCFC adopt a similar tactic they are immediately penalised if not booked as well.

-- Tue Dec 11, 2012 8:36 pm --
