I thought that he probably had his worse game for us last night.Has probably been Hughes' best signing of the summer so far so I guess is entitled to a bad game.Hopefully saving himself for next Monday at Villa Park.

As a side note I had a quick browse on a Villa forum to see what they were thinking about next week and found these;

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.villatalk.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=56536" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.villatalk.com/index.php?name ... ic&t=56536</a>

Would love to see his face when De Jong & Barry dominate the game next week

I think it will make Barry work and trt even harder

Apparently he had the same stomach bug as superman and only just got passed fit.Don't worry he will dominate against villa next week.

Yea he was ill before Stevie and although I agree that was his worst game for us I still think he did a job and helped out at the back a few times. The guys made an esc eptional start to his City career and I'm sure he'll be back on form against Villa

Played even though unwell and it showed last night but the guy is absolute quality normally and a bargain at £12m. I love the way he always seems to have time on the ball, whcih is the sign of a class player.

SWP would do well to emulate him as he gives the ball away nearly every time he gets it.

Hang on a minute Barry can give the ball away a lot too at times,for club and country I may add

Love this

If I was going I would be completely indifferent to him. Hurling abuse is liking admitted to your ex, she isnt a slag like you've been telling everyone, she was just too good for you.

Sometimes his passes go astray but that doesn't equate to "giving the ball away a lot".

Aye, i think they're (the villa fans) are clutching at straws. He'll/we'll rip them to pieces next week.
