Knowing the club he'll be appointed Peps number 2 in July...That almost makes me feel guilty
It is what it said on the tin. Results and performances have just not been to the level expected of this team. Yes, we've had injuries to key players but the depth of squad should see us beating the also-rans of the WSL comfortably and that just hasn't been the case. A few games ago I'm sure I actually heard the crowd booing after another dismal performance and I think that was the final straw.so whats the intell on this one then? was he caught with his fingers in the till, so to speak, and had to be let go?
Do you think he would mentor an Ex-player ie Izzy or Steph for example for a season or two before they took over?Therese Sjogran talks about sacking Taylor and next managerial appointment (Cushing still in the frame) on BBC Sport website:

I have absolutely no idea over who else would be considered. We can hope that Steph is in a position where she could take up such a role if that's the way that everyone is comfortable enough with it.Do you think he would mentor an Ex-player ie Izzy or Steph for example for a season or two before they took over?
It is about time to hire an experienced coach, a woman or man doesn’t matter, as long as a truly experienced coach. City women team shouldn’t become an experiment for a beginner who has a lot to learn such as Houghton or Izzy (with due respect to them) or similar. I understand that many on here, myself included, like those players, but enough with the sentiment for ex-players who have no clue how to coach. They should learn somewhere else first, for at least 2-3 years, and importantly demonstrate undisputed success, then be considered. Not the other way around. I won’t be surprised that Therese Sjogran would leave if the Club and PR team insisted on hiring Houghton or Izzy or similar for advertising. She seems like a no nonsense professional.I have absolutely no idea over who else would be considered.
