For what it's worth, taken form tribal but I'm guessing there's a longer interview somehwere?

Manchester City fullback Javier Garrido says their top four push is thanks to the arrival of manager Roberto Mancini.

Garrido has only broke back into the City first team since Mancini succeeded Mark Hughes at Eastlands.

The Spaniard said: "The dream is to play in the Champions League next season and with Mancini we have a very good coach who is tactically impressive."

It's nice to hear positive quotes but Tribal must be the worst site ever, there's more factual news from drunk people on here.

From The Shun-

JAVIER GARRIDO says it is only a matter of time until Europe's top stars want to come to Manchester City.
The club are pushing the 'Big Four' this season having spent more than £200million last summer.

They made an audacious £100m bid for AC Milan maestro Kaka in January last year but the Brazilian snubbed City in order to join Real Madrid.

But midfielder Garrido reckons City's emergence as a threat in the Premier League will be enough to entice the likes of Kaka and Valencia's David Villa.

He said: "Not everything can be completed in a day - something like Kaka coming here - it takes time for players like that to come. The club want to be on equal terms with the best in Europe but you have to earn that right.

"When we start to play in the Champions League regularly, then it will not be far off from a time when we will appeal to the likes of Villa or Kaka."

And Garrido hailed boss Roberto Mancini for giving City hope of a top-four finish this term, adding: "The dream is to play in the Champions League next season and with Mancini we have a very good coach who is tactically impressive."
