Crooks clearly picks his team of the week watching MOTD when he’s half asleep after downing a bottle of claret - wearing his smoking jacket, slippers and sporting a monocle. Thinks he’s an intellectual with his affected posh voice - and his superior attitude.

On Palmer - "If Erling Haaland's spot kick was emphatic for City then Chelsea's response by the young Palmer was definitive. If this kid can keep his head among the bright lights of London and not get carried away with it all, there is no telling what he could achieve. What a talent."

Jeez. Palmer did 2 things of note - a run which ended with s shit shot and a penalty. What a talent!

Tell you what Garth, he won't keep hi head if you keep writing shit like that and making the guy think he's a world beater when he most certainly isn't.

Also, does GC just look at who scored and think "They must have been awesome." Except in the case if any of our players, of course.
