Just realised this is on tonight...bought a ticket but haven't collected..Gary if you are on here can you confirm still on and that will be able to collect my ticket on the night?
From memory you could collect tickets up to 30mins beforehand for the previous viewings.

Excellent night. Gary and the team from north west film archive have pulled together some amazing film showing 80 years of city history.

Highlights include 1934 welcome parade, 56 'bambi on ice' versus liverpool, trautmann in 56 as the proto-type zabaletta and Mercer and Book book ending the 70s with fantastic dignity.

Lowlights were the Swales leadership masterclasses and seeing just how shit Maine road had become by the end - the platt lane and kippax stands must have been designed by junior blues with crayons, using a brief to say they mustn't match each other or anything else in situ. Still, it got me nostalgic.

It was a very good watch this evening! Out of interest, does anybody know if the 'amateur' footage (featured in the film) shot from the last game at Main Road is available to watch again anywhere?

I think it was filmed by a Chris Hansen.

Really good night. Lots of memories came flooding back. Some not so good ! Dave Watson's shirt was eye catching !

Great night. Very nostalgic. The most moving moment for me was watching one of my favorite players 'blue blood' Mike Doyle in the 1970 (?) team recording the City song ( the Boys in Blue never give in).

i went with a friend (who will remain nameless) who said it started at 8pm. needless to say i was a little peeved when we got to the corner house at 7:30 to pick up the tiks only to be told the film actually started at 6:20. managed to catch the last 15 mins which was John bond interview/kippax last stand/last game at maine
Road (the latter two which bought back some great memories). any one have any idea when this is showing next??Would like to watch it all this time!
