IR35 is a minefield, particularly for entertainers. Lineker may have a contract with the BBC but that doesn't necessarily make him an employee. So it's possible he'll win his case, like Lorraine Kelly did, by proving he was offering his services on a freelance basis.

HMRC have made a complete dog's breakfast of this legislation.

My friends daughter works in a jewelers in London. Didnt have a clue who he was but had to get a restraining order against him as kept coming into the shop and making lewd comments. Now this would have been about 5/6 years ago when she was only 17
