Gary Neville

I thought he was simply wonderful last night.

I see what you did there, petrol , fire etc.

I'd love Mr Neville to be our manager one day, he see's things on the pitch that others don't and his experience as a player in the CL would take us to the next level.

His punditry has been good, however I was disappointed on Sunday that a couple of "Blues" chose to have their photo taken with him. Simply not on. Not on at all.

I saw him briefly at the end if MNF when he was responding to Q+A from fans ... he sounded like a member of the Cayman Yoonited PR Deartment .... fawning over slur alex and tom zadine cleverly ... Lost many brownie points for me .... Not that he cares about that of course !!!!!!!

Surely, he's allowed to drool over whom ever he wants after his drooling over a rival player (Aguero); the thing is, he's rather neutral on TV. That means he has to comment on every team, Man Utd. City. Tottenham and Wigan and everyone else. He has to compliment them on their strengths (i.e. Cleverley or whomsoever) and he also has to mention their weaknesses.

He's allowed to say something positive about United as well; otherwise that's going too far in the other direction i.e. trying to be unbiased to the extent you are being bias against the club you are meant to be biased FOR.

Hi Donuts

Neville has been an eye opener as a pundit, great insights into play and players and telling it like it is without bias - just what you want from a pundit

The bit I saw on MNF struck me as not punditry but blatant PR for his former employer

Peace .. :-)

He could put an end to world poverty and I still wouldn't have a good word to say about him.
