good tekkers, but kind of a slow player. will be interesting to see how he adapts. i expect him to suffer early on just like ruiz, but eventually his ability should come through

He won't be able to play against us I think but it is a very suprising move. I think it speaks a lot about him that he is willing to join Southampton and prove himself further rather than hold out for a bigger move to maybe us or Liverpool.

It'll be a massive surprise if he moves there but I don't think any Spurs fan will be foaming with rage if they know anything about the player. We've got VDV and Siggy for behind the striker and Bale and Lennon for the wings, he's not the striker we desperately need at all. Liverpool fans will probably be foaming with rage but that's a given at any point in time really.

No idea to be honest mate, think he'll still be a starter with Siggy gradually taking his position. I think he loves playing in the premier league but I'd hazard a guess that he'll be fit for half of it at best with his hamstrings, can see a move to the Dutch or German leagues where allegedly (as I don't watch much of either league so I can't really say) it is less physical therefore he'd be able to cope with it better. I love Rafa and he has done so much for the club and worringly seems to be one of the few that hate losing, but I can see him leaving next season. Not really sure what his contract situation is either to be honest..

the guy is a great prospect but still not a finished product, in a couple of years at southampton he'll be ready for a top club

If Southampton have got him for £11.8m Kenny would have been able to get him for what £30m?
 
I note on the SSN ticker the deal has collapsed....is this one of the deals Bobby has been doing in Londinium?
