Just turned it on for 10 mins. It's the most amateurish load of shit I've ever seen. Presented by clowns, produced by idiots.

Your silent majority point is a good one, a statement popularised by the disgraced former US President Nixon who used it in a speech in 1969, he saw the silent majority as being in support of the Vietnam war and he appealed to them as a means of getting elected. he believed the silent majority were being silenced by a vocal minority who were leading the Anti War movement in America. You are right to warn people to be wary because this unspecified group are often used to justify something that is unpopular or controversial.

It's barely a propaganda piece, I mean last night the launch which should of been very popular only gained 262,000 viewers which amazingly is still apparently more than the BBC news channel. This represents though less than 0.5% of the population.

On those figures I don't know why any of these news channels bother, you can nearly get as many people into Wembley. 10x more people will watch Coronation Street tonight than all of the news channels put together. The Daily Mail has around 2 million daily readers which is 2-4% of the population so barely even worthy of being called a minority let alone anything else.

The big game changer in all politics and certainly news media is social media, that's where the propaganda, danger and power behind all division lies.
 
Fuck me - just seen this on Twitter - its not even North Korea standard - its quality is DDR/Romania quality broadcasting !! Is it all just similar? A series of monologues which they imagine is news?

 
I tuned in to the stream just now. Lots of ads and lots of buffering. No understandable news.

This must confuse a few on the right - with their constant belief the BBC is left wing and criticises Boris too much , yet here we are.

Shame how many artists I respected have come out as fucking total bellends not worth a light thanks to Brexit and the pandemic. The Who will be playing all across Europe to packed houses on tour of next week then I assume?

An interview with a retired miner on how the government is plundering their pension, Maya Forstater and her victory for women's rights and a Grenfell survivor sticking it to the government.

But it's a slight of hand, their bread and butter comes with a thick slice of gammon.

Tined in over the day, it’s pretty depressing and has nothing of substance. The backdrop is dark and how can anybody take it serious when they get ex-Sky news ’girls’ to pull you in.

Will flick on but won’t be for long as there’s plenty of decent channels elsewhere.

I thought there were strict rules on impartiality in TV news compared to newspapers. Or is it like when something calls itself a university, but their qualifications might as well be written on the back of a cereal packet?
