With GBeebies failing, Neil's Spectator magazine is doing a thinly veiled attack on Marcus Rashford.
It is a blatant attempt to shore up the GBeebies support with an attack that will appeal to the average GBeebies viewers world view.
The thought to them of a young black successful man making a difference and showing up the old white men's outdated view of the world is abhorrent. He is everything they are not.
I would even hope at the next Manchester Derby, City fans showed their solidarity with Marcus because despite him being a rag, he is one of our own, a Mancunian that blue or red we can be proud of.
To put it into context, Marcus campaigns to feed our kids, the old white men at the Spectator support the man who is happy to let bodies pile high.
