Wow, just seen my constituency, Congleton, is predicated to go to labour. Its been a Tory seat since it was created. The MP Bruce has a very big majority. I never would have thought that. I think next month could be a momentus day in British politics.
I am genuinely surprised by this! But in some ways not, as I don't know anyone who has a good word to say about this government. At best is, well whats the alternative ? Better the devil you know attitude. The majority I have spoken to think its time for a change.

Bruce is a useless fucker done nothing for my town, she's also in the top 10 highest paid MPs with the alternative income streams they have. Hope we finally get a change, was use to it being a wasted vote here.

Have to say I agree. Never been that impressed with how she has stood up for our constituency or Winterton before her.
Bruce definitely thinks being an MP is a part time job of up to 5 or 10 hrs a week.

Well I dissagree, again ask yourself whether those families would think the same of that girls actions. We have a democracy in this country that many people lost their lives defending. I get it, you loathe Farage many do, but that democratic right applies to everyone whether you like them or not.

As I said go and throw some milkshake over a policeman and then tell him it was harmless fun. Or better still try it on Sunack ? Then tell me how either of those harmless bits of fun would work out for you.

The practice of throwing assorted produce at politicians or people of note has a long history in this country and elsewhere. The earliest incident on record took place in 63 AD when Roman governor Vespasian was hit with turnips.

You have to respect our traditions, although I would stick to milky liquids and avoid turnips.

If Congleton goes to Labour is any Tory seat safe? In 1997 when we had the biggest swing to Labour in my adult lifetime , Winterton still had a majority of 11.5%. It will be pretty astonishing if the seat goes to Labour.

We’re through the looking glass. Since 2019, we’ve been run by charlatans. People are unbelievably angry with them.
