The saddest thing in all this is we have Boris Johnson as PM.

I didnt want Corbyn but fuck, now we have to cope with this utter ****.

As the brother in law just said to me, i feel utterly fuckin depressed that this absolute cùnt is in charge and i helped put him there.

He just couldn't for Corbyn.

I did say you could of spoilt your ballot paper:)

Conservatives are on a gain of 47 seats of which 38 were constituencies that had voted leave in the 2016 Referendum but the sitting MP had consistantly voted against the leave Bills in Parliament.

I know Corby was some of the problem for Labour but those MP's who ignored the wishes of their constituents got what they deserved.
But presumably there were plenty of Tory constituencies that voted Remain where the MPs voted for Brexit in parliament. What happened to Redwood for example?

Labour could well split as a party now.
At the moment they are in a state of shock but next they will go into the angry/ recrimination phase which is beginning as we speak.
No point in getting into detailed analysis but PLP could break away.
Fcuk knows what happens then but it could be messy.
Something however will emerge.
This is how change happens.

I mean this most sincerely, if Labour re-emerge as a credible but pragmatic party for the people with an electable leader I will 100% consider a tick in the box for them...

when labour come back for the next election the landscape may be different. Rise in nationalism in all the union countries. Sturgeon is going to be banging on about a second Indy ref and the results in Scotland means her voice will be a loud one.

Ditto. I've voted for.them previously and I'd do so again if they're policies appealed to me.

I'm not one of those who says "I could never vote for xyz". That view surely is the height of stupidity.

I think they’re done and dusted as a party to be honest, and a new party like “The People’s Democratic Centre Left Party” (for want of a better name) need to emerge.

Either that or they’ve been very very clever here, know that the Tories can’t deliver a good Brexit and will see millions of people flood back to Labour in five years after the Tories fuck shit up.
